Beekeeping has recently become popular again, having been in decline for more than half a century. At Braithwaite’s, we have always kept our own bee colonies on the nursery and despite the efforts of last years weather still have 6 hives going strong.

We hold a comprehensive stock of beekeeping equipment from hives to wax to clothing. All supplies now in stock. We sell our own honey in season and that of other local beekeepers when our own has sold out. We also make our own beeswax candles – slow burning with a mellow honey scent.
